Our first year students from Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree have been sharing their knowledge in Nutritional assessment with 2nd year Pharmacy students.
First year students (who already are pharmacists) have studied Anthropometry and Nutritional surveillance in diet therapy subject. They have improved their skills in the discipline by practicing under the teacher supervision. They have also made an effort sharing information in a different language with students from other countries , people they haven´t met before. This is an iterative process; when you improve your skills and understanding , you feel more able to share it
It has been a great experience for both groups since they have met other students that are learning the same expertise .
Teaching other people allows you to learn new things each day
