The Hispalyt Final Degree Projects Awards Ceremony was held on July 10. The winners received their prizes at the Hispalyt headquarters in Madrid.
Architecture student Inma Soler Tomás, from the CEU Cardenal Herrera University received an Honorable Mention prize for her Final Degree Project titled Entre Lazados, a multipurpose center, intergenerational, projected for the Torrefiel neighborhood in Valencia.
Hispalyt organized these Awards, within their Foro Universitario Cerámico activities for the 2016/2017 year, with the purpose of promoting the knowledge and reflection on ceramic materials among students who employed exposed brickwork in their Final Degree Project. All students who presented their project in a call from June 2015 to June 2017 were allowed to join the competition, with the requirement that they made use of exposed brickwork.
The prizes were delivered by Pedro Rognoni (president of the Exposed Brickwork section from Hispalyt), and by Daniel Pedrajas on behalf of Endesa, sponsor of the Foro Cerámico Hispalyt activities throughout the 2016/2017 year.
