International students attending the Architectural Drawing I subject from the Architecture Degree at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University have been drawing in several locations within Alfara del Patriarca during this semester.
The goal was to perceive the essence of reality and then translating it into drawings with watercolor and pencil. Key factors were mastering proportion as well as the color and drawing technique. One of the most interesting benefits was to realize how a same location can be understood and drawn differently across students.
It’s been a very enriching exercise, and students have experienced by themselves one of the key points in Architecture: the duality of personal work and working in group.
