Where are you from?

I’m from Sicily, an island located in the south of Italy.

How did you know about our University?

University CEU Cardenal Herrera was one of the universities that offered an Erasmus+ exchange for a whole year to study in another country.

Why did you choose Pharmacy?

I always wanted to be part of the people with the knowledge necessary to help others, treat diseases, and change the way of thinking of pharmacists around the world.

Tell me a little bit about your hobbies.

I like sports, football, biking… anything that keeps me active.

Was it hard for you to adapt and find a place to live?

Spanish people are very nice, they made me feel like home, same life but in another language. In fact, in a short time I managed to make friends in Pharmacy and other degrees. At first, I didn’t know where to look for a place to live, but through different social networks I could find a flat to share, close to the University.

What could you say about the time spent here in CEU Valencia?

I am glad I came here under the Erasmus+ program. The fact that the University is located in a small town pretty close to Valencia makes it an ideal place to study. The professors are very good, you can tell they are really well prepared, and they really want to make everything clear and easy for us to learn. Students are interesting, each in their own way, with their own stories, from everywhere in Spain and outside of Spain. I really enjoyed my experience here, and I wish I could stay longer.

What have you planned for when you finish the career?

After finishing I want to keep studying, to go further in my knowledge. I also want to travel a lot because I really enjoyed my time here in University CEU Cardenal Herrera, and I want to open my mind to new cultures.
