Patricia, what is your impression of the studies you did at University CEU Cardenal Herrera?
When I started studying Law I thought that it was going to be too much for me and that everything was going to be too difficult, but I knew that it was the thing I always wanted to do and I just had to go for it. A great deal of things have happened these last years that have made me realize that not only did I want to finish my studies but I also wanted to go further in my education at a more international level. That is why I decided to study a double degree in Law and Political Science. And I am aware that University CEU Cardenal Herrera and the faculty, who have always supported me, are behind this personal decision.
What is your opinion on the academic level at University CEU Cardenal Herrera?
This university has a faculty of highly qualified and professional teachers. From an academic point of view, excellence and quality are guaranteed, something that I have come to realize these last years. I now know I made the right choice with this university.
Would you recommend our institution to people with academic interests like your own?
The large number of agreements our university has is precisely what makes it possible for students like me, with an internationally oriented mind, to pursue their education. As students, we are offered training placements in different Embassies, Consulates and other international firms.
How were your professors like? Did they motivate you to excel in your field of expertise, to reach for more than what might be considered the norm?
One of the things I value the most here at University CEU Cardenal Herrera is the support and close relationship existing between teachers and students. They really show interest in solving out your doubts, they are always willing to help you or give you advice on an eventual professional path. These are key factors for a student because feeling that support is one of the things that keeps you going.
Why did you choose to study at University CEU Cardenal Herrera?
I have many friends and relatives who had already studied here and they recommended it. Once I passed the admission interview, visited the facilities and got acquainted with the academic program I knew that this was what I had been looking for. After these years I know I was right and that I made the right decision.
In what ways did our institution and its academic staff contributed to your personal development?
The university and its faculty have provided me with a complete education, both inside and outside the classroom, also thanks to the international placements I have taken part in. Teachers are always willing to give you advice and they are of great support. At the end, who can give you better advice than a profesional in the field!
Do you think University CEU Cardenal Herrera is doing enough to assist you in developing your talents and skills?
I am very pleased with my experience here at the university and I think the institution has done a lot for me.
What is your overall impression of the time you spent here?
So far I think that all the effort has been worthwhile. Now that I have finished my studies I have the feeling that my education has been as broad and complete as it could be.
Can you share with us some good experiences you have had during your years at the university?
Here at University CEU Cardenal Herrera I have had the opportunity to study a double degree, Political Science and Law, which doesn’t exist in other universities in Spain. Throughout my studies I have enjoyed from international placements at the Spanish Embassy in Malta and at DWF LLP, a very prestigious legal firm in Manchester. I think that these have been two of the most enriching experiences from both a profesional and a personal point of view.
