We just love November! The upcoming month will start with a very important day in our holiday calendar, the Feast of All Saints’ Day, which is a day of remembrance of the deceased. The month will continue for 29 more days with a campaign devoted to raise awareness for male cancer. All of us here at University CEU Cardenal Herrera have a clear objective for this month: Making everyone know that it is that time of the year again. Are you ready for #Movember?
The Movember Foundation is an international charity institution committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising €485 million and funding over 1,000 programmes focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
So here is our challenge:
Will you grow your Mo for the next 30 days?
By doing so, you will be showing the world that you support men’s health, in accordance to the values promoted by the #Movember movement.
Of course, you will have to do something in return: You will need to show proof of your clean-shaven face at the beginning of the month and post photos throughout the month to prove that your moustache is growing…and remember to use the hashtag #MovemberCEU so we can keep track of it! And for those brave ones who want to go public and show their support to the #Movember movement, we will be arranging a free visit to a cool barbershop to give their moustaches the best shape possible!
How can you join #MovemberCEU?
If you accept our challenge and want to join in, take a look at the following rules:
- Remember to use the hashtag #MovemberCEU every time you post a photo
- Try to post as many photos as possible throughout the month of November. This way we will see how your moustache grows in any of the following Social Media: Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
- Get involved for a good cause: We want to raise awareness and educate men in healthy habits!
Come on, we want to see your moustaches grow!
Girls can also participate in #MovemberCEU! You can encourage your classmates to grow a moustache: Share this blog entry and help promote Movember and men’s health!
