On Tuesday, 10 June 2025<\/strong>, the research group Rule of Law Crisis in the EU<\/em> took part in the second edition of the CEU UCH Research Fair<\/strong>, organised by the Vice-Rectorate for Research<\/strong> of CEU Cardenal Herrera University<\/strong>. Doctoral researchers Almudena del Castillo<\/strong> and Zitan Peng <\/strong>represented the group at a stand<\/strong> where they presented the team\u2019s recent work to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the morning, they engaged in conversation with undergraduate and postgraduate students<\/strong>, as well as fellow PhD candidates<\/strong>, who were interested in learning more about research activity and what it means to be part of a research team. Senior academics<\/strong> and members of other research groups<\/strong> also visited the stand to inquire about the group\u2019s ongoing projects and findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stand featured an informative poster<\/strong> detailing the group\u2019s background, along with copies of the three books published<\/strong> as a result of their research, and the main conclusions of the international congress<\/strong> they organised in October 2023<\/strong>. A dynamic database<\/strong> hosted on the group\u2019s blog was also showcased on a vertical screen<\/strong>, allowing visitors to explore interactive visualisations and trends<\/strong> concerning the rule of law in the EU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event offered an excellent opportunity to raise the group\u2019s visibility<\/strong>, network with researchers from other disciplines<\/strong>, and gain insight into the diverse and vibrant academic landscape at CEU<\/strong>.
