What roles do conventional and non-conventional mechanisms play in the protection of human rights? What can the international community do to curb the escalation of conflict in Ukraine and Palestine? And, in European territory, <strong>what mechanisms does Europe have to protect human rights and the rule of law?<\/strong> What role does the European Court of Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU play?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are some of the questions that <strong>Dr. Sanz Caballero, professor of International Law and the lead researcher of the project,<\/strong> attempted to answer during the <strong>&#8220;Youth for Youth&#8221; course organized by the Helsinki-Spain Foundation<\/strong>, which is taking place this week at the Casa del Alumno of the Polytechnic University of Val\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course involves <strong>40 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various Valencian universities <\/strong>who, once trained, will be distributed to schools in the Valencian Community to teach human rights concepts to secondary school students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants in the course include students from the<strong> Polytechnic University, the University of Val\u00e8ncia, the European University, and the International University of Val\u00e8ncia<\/strong>, among others.
