Nearing the end of the second year of teaching the Specialist Course in Sports Journalism in University CEU Cardenal Herrera, the training of the new batch of communication professionals specialised in sports made in CEU-UCH continues “in crescendo”.
This year the programme has been completed with the subjects in essays and design, the communication of sports events, the elaboration of specific pieces for internet and sport graphics.
All of these, together with those already initiated the previous year (sport on the radio, on the television and on social networks), have made up a study plan specialised in sports communication, which the Journalism students at University CEU Cardenal Herrera take when they study the degree.
As well as the teachers at CEU-UCH, in the programme the following people also participate as professors: Alejandro Pla, director of Planabout; Héctor Conesa, head of Design and Image of Levante UD; Juan Antón, head of Expansion and Development of the International Area, of Villarreal CF; Damià Vidagany, director of Communication of Valencia CF; journalist Javier Mercader, and the delegate of Marca in the Valencia community and also professor at CEU-UCH, Fernando Álvarez.
The classes have been complemented by the participation of invitees of first level in each of the areas, who have shared their knowledge and experience with the students of the Specialist Course in Sports Journalism, at University CEU Cardenal Herrera. Similarly, the students have attended and have covered matches and sport events live.
