{"id":3672,"date":"2022-07-25T02:26:44","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T00:26:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/?p=3672"},"modified":"2022-07-30T18:14:31","modified_gmt":"2022-07-30T16:14:31","slug":"el-papel-de-kaiso-en-el-desarrollo-embrionario-y-del-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/el-papel-de-kaiso-en-el-desarrollo-embrionario-y-del-cancer\/","title":{"rendered":"El papel de \u00abKaiso\u00bb en el desarrollo embrionario y del c\u00e1ncer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Siguiendo con las actividades de la celebraci\u00f3n del d\u00eda Mundial de C\u00e1ncer durante este curso, en el grado de Medicine (l\u00ednea biling\u00fce de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud del Centro de Alfara del Patriarca), dentro de la serie conocida como: \u201cC\u00e1ncer: origen, evoluci\u00f3n y su correspondencia embrionaria\u201d, destacamos el trabajo del alumno\u00a0<strong>Jean Andr\u00e9 Madrid<\/strong> (1er curso).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized is-style-rounded\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/Captura-de-pantalla-2022-07-24-a-las-19.27.40.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3673\" width=\"133\" height=\"145\" \/><figcaption>&nbsp;<strong>Jean Andr\u00e9 Madrid<\/strong> &#8211; CEU Cardenal Herrera<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Para entender c\u00f3mo funcionan las c\u00e9lulas cancer\u00edgenas en t\u00e9rminos de sus capacidades para dividirse y metastatizar r\u00e1pidamente otros \u00f3rganos, hay que centrarse en los conceptos b\u00e1sicos acerca del desarrollo embrionario. Todas las c\u00e9lulas del cuerpo contienen el mismo ADN, pero lo que hace que una c\u00e9lula sea diferente de la siguiente son los genes que expresan. Para comenzar con una c\u00e9lula y llegar a m\u00e1s de 10 billones de c\u00e9lulas, se requiere mucha divisi\u00f3n celular y activaci\u00f3n de genes para diferenciar esos 10 billones de c\u00e9lulas. En las primeras etapas del desarrollo del embri\u00f3n, la c\u00e9lula se divide r\u00e1pidamente para crear c\u00e9lulas madre embrionarias. Con el tiempo, estas c\u00e9lulas madre comenzar\u00e1n a volverse m\u00e1s especializadas, activando o desactivando un conjunto diferente de genes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las muchas similitudes que comparte el desarrollo del c\u00e1ncer con el desarrollo embrionario es el uso de la prote\u00edna llamada \u201cKaiso\u201d. Esta prote\u00edna cuando se encuentra en el n\u00facleo de una c\u00e9lula, est\u00e1 involucrada en muchos procesos que se ocupan de la represi\u00f3n de los genes de migraci\u00f3n\/movilidad a trav\u00e9s de <a href=\"https:\/\/europepmc.org\/article\/med\/21941618\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">v\u00edas comunes.<\/a> Sin embargo, cuando Kaiso se encuentra en el citoplasma tiene un efecto contrario, promoviendo la migraci\u00f3n celular, la proliferaci\u00f3n y la degradaci\u00f3n de la matriz extracelular, liberando de alguna manera a la c\u00e9lula y permiti\u00e9ndole moverse libremente (que es el mecanismo utilizado por las c\u00e9lulas cancer\u00edgenas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"451\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-650x451.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3678\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-650x451.jpg 650w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-315x219.jpg 315w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-768x533.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-218x150.jpg 218w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-696x483.jpg 696w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-605x420.jpg 605w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002-100x70.jpg 100w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/medicina\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2022\/07\/nihms-1012496-f0002.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><figcaption><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/europepmc.org\/article\/med\/30419310\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kaiso regulates several tumor-related processes as defined by Hanahan &amp; Weinberg<\/a><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dependiendo de si <a href=\"https:\/\/europepmc.org\/article\/med\/30419310\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kaiso<\/a> se localiza en el n\u00facleo o en el citoplasma, tendr\u00e1 un papel importante en la represi\u00f3n transcripcional de los genes, inhibiendo la proliferaci\u00f3n y movilidad de la c\u00e9lula, o tendr\u00e1 un efecto contrario favoreciendo la migraci\u00f3n y proliferaci\u00f3n de la c\u00e9lula.
