Estos tumores son conocidos como <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.gov\/espanol\/publicaciones\/diccionarios\/diccionario-cancer\/def\/embrioma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Embriomas<\/a><\/em> y pueden ser benignos o malignos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S1665114614000380\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">embriomas<\/a> pueden aparecer a cualquier edad, pero son mas frecuentes en ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os y neonatos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dentro del grupo de los embriomas, los mas frecuentes son&nbsp;&nbsp;los localizados en el <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sistema_nervioso_central\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sistema nervioso central<\/a>, por lo general suelen ser malignos y muy agresivos. De ah\u00ed que la gran mayor\u00eda de estos tumores sean malignos, de dif\u00edcil diagn\u00f3stico y con un pron\u00f3stico devastador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el punto de vista biol\u00f3gico, los tumores embrionarios representan importantes modelos para el estudio del origen del c\u00e1ncer humano, aunque afortunadamente se trata de patolog\u00edas muy poco frecuentes, es necesario realizar muchas m\u00e1s investigaciones al respecto para favorecer el diagn\u00f3stico temprano as\u00ed como esclarecer la fisiopatolog\u00eda del c\u00e1ncer en cuanto a gen\u00e9tica y patr\u00f3n
