Unfortunatelly, <a href=\"https:\/\/centromariomolina.org\/\">Dr. Mario Molina<\/a> died suddently on October the 7th. But the rest of the jurors, were there to award 6 Spanish people:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Francisco Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda Vidal, a physic expert on nanophotonics, won the Basic Research Award<\/li>\n<li>Diego Puga Peque\u00f1o, the Prize in Economics<\/li>\n<li>Miguel Beato del Rosal, the Prize in Medical Research<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cvnet.cpd.ua.es\/curriculum-breve\/en\/maestre-gil-fernando-tomas\/352511\">Fernando Tom\u00e1s Maestre Gil<\/a>, the Award of Protection of Nature<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/icn2.cat\/en\/nanobiosensors-and-bioanalytical-applications-group?publications\">Laura Lechuga<\/a>, the New Technologies Prize for her work in the discovery the nanosensors to be used in medicine and nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Ver\u00f3nica Pascual Bo\u00e9, the Entrepreneurship Prize for her company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.astimobilerobotics.com\/?utm_term=asti%20mobile%20robotics&amp;utm_campaign=ASTI+GENERICA+WEB+CORPORATIVA&amp;utm_source=adwords&amp;utm_medium=ppc&amp;hsa_acc=7119903491&amp;hsa_cam=9504534188&amp;hsa_grp=112167212792&amp;hsa_ad=474104119859&amp;hsa_src=g&amp;hsa_tgt=kwd-655455849291&amp;hsa_kw=asti%20mobile%20robotics&amp;hsa_mt=e&amp;hsa_net=adwords&amp;hsa_ver=3&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8Z-v4JPL7AIVuRkGAB23-AiaEAAYASAAEgLzk_D_BwE\">Asti Mobile Robotics<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In this ocasion, the unusual Proclamation Ceremony, was held in an almost empty Palau de la Generalitat. Dr. Beato discovered many years ago the mechanims of action of the steroids and the fact they have their receptors in the cytoplasm of the target cells. But the prizes was awarded for his more recent work in Spain, where he found that, other than beeing produced by the mitochondria, ATP is also synthetized in the cellular nucleus.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lechuga and Dr. Beato will gave their speach about their experimental works when they will come to Valencia to receive the Medal from Felipe VI, King of Spain.
