La convenci\u00f3n estaba repleta de stands de la mayor parte de distribuidores de material de ortodoncia del mundo y de charlas y presentaciones de importantes ortodoncistas.<\/p>\n<p>Como era de esperar, el <strong>marketing<\/strong> estuvo muy presente en esta convenci\u00f3n, especialmente en el espacio reservado a las distribuidoras. \u00c9stas, utilizaban desde las presentaciones m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sicas y formales, propio de las distribuidoras m\u00e1s importantes y con mayor asentamiento en el mercado, hasta presentaciones de lo m\u00e1s diferenciadas con stands que ofrec\u00edan un elemento diferenciador llamativo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3558 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/marketing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2016\/05\/IMG_4485-e1463469968649-315x420.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4485\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/>Uno de los ejemplos claros de estas empresas que buscaban en la originalidad llamar la atenci\u00f3n de los consumidores fue <strong>TOPS<\/strong>, una empresa especializada en aplicaciones inform\u00e1ticas para facilitar la gesti\u00f3n de cl\u00ednicas de ortodoncia. Esta empresa, adem\u00e1s de su llamativo logo en color rosa y amarillo, decidi\u00f3 incorporar en su stand un puesto gigante de algodones de az\u00facar que atrajo a un gran numero de personas que disfrutaban del dulce a la vez que aprend\u00edan el proyecto de la empresa.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, ve\u00edamos como grandes empresas distribuidoras como <strong>Rocky Mountain Orthodontics<\/strong>, no buscaban ideas originales para atraer al p\u00fablico, sino que basaban sus presentaciones en <strong>grandes stands<\/strong> con unas 15 personas trabajando que transmit\u00edan una imagen m\u00e1s de seriedad y de gran empresa. Al tener una gran presencia en el mercado, no necesitaban llamar la atenci\u00f3n de los asistente sino que su propio posicionamiento de la marca ya establecido, atra\u00eda a un gran n\u00famero de personas.<\/p>\n<p>Por tanto, vemos como la AAO es un ejemplo claro de como el marketing en un mercado concreto, en este caso el de ortodoncia, var\u00eda significativamente seg\u00fan el posicionamiento de la marca en el mercado y el tama\u00f1o de la empresa y los a\u00f1os que lleve en el sector.<\/p>\n<p>Art\u00edculo de Vicente Carbonell Casta\u00f1er.
