Es una noticia que acaba de publicar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/tecnologia\/2016-02-01\/tuenti-cerrara-su-red-social-sus-20-millones-de-usuarios-no-son-rentables_1141970\/?utm_content=buffer8d863&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com&amp;utm_campaign=buffer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">el confindencial<\/a> pero que se lleva comentando desde hace a\u00f1os. En 2010<a href=\"https:\/\/www.expansion.com\/2010\/08\/03\/empresas\/tmt\/1280869139.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> telef\u00f3nica<\/strong> compro el 90%<\/a> de la red social por 70 millones de euros y en noviembre de 2013 adquiri\u00f3 el otro 10% restante que\u00a0estaba a en manos de socios minoritarios entre los que figuraban empleados y directivos de \u00e9sta, entre ellos su fundador Zaryn Dentzel.<\/p>\n<p>En estos a\u00f1os la red social que lleg\u00f3 a alcanzar <strong>20 millones de usuarios<\/strong> ha ido perdiendo fuelle en favor de convertirse en un Operador M\u00f3vil Virtual. Lo que no tengo tan claro es que en origen estos fueran los planes de la compa\u00f1\u00eda tras gastarse mas de 70 millones de euros.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuenti<\/strong> consigui\u00f3 situarse como una red social de nicho, cubriendo edades entre los 12 y 18 a\u00f1os aunque para darte de alta ped\u00edan ser mayor de 16 a\u00f1os en origen luego se relaj\u00f3 el tema y muchos adolescentes y preadolescentes han utilizado <strong>tuenti<\/strong> como su red social preferida.<\/p>\n<p>La entrada de telef\u00f3nica me pareci\u00f3 muy acertada en su momento y mas si cabe por la presencia que tiene la multinacional en toda Am\u00e9rica Latina y hubiera permitido crear sinergia entre ambas empresas para que la red social se hubiera convertido en la n\u00famero uno en lengua hispana.<\/p>\n<p>Pero no fue as\u00ed y la impresi\u00f3n que tengo es que a <strong>telef\u00f3nica<\/strong> le ha salido algo caro crear una marca de Operador M\u00f3vil Virtual. Tengo cuenta en tuenti desde hace muchos a\u00f1os y hac\u00eda mas de dos a\u00f1os que no entraba en ella, pero nunca he recibido ning\u00fan mensaje invit\u00e1ndome a hacerlo, tampoco me han ofrecido darme de alta para telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil, por lo que no llego a comprender para que quieren una base de datos de 20 millones de personas, si luego no interactuar con ellos.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy he entrado a ver que me encontraba y una pantalla as\u00ed de sosa me ha dado la bienvenida despu\u00e9s de dos a\u00f1os. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>Esperemos que sepan darle un entierro justo.
