Ofrecieron unos productos \u00a0como maletas o sillas de montar de lujo\u00a0pero muy \u00fatiles para los consumidores de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p>Con el tiempo, han ido cambiando pues\u00a0\u00a0ya no compiten sobre la conveniencia o no de su equipaje sea\u00a0el m\u00e1s \u00fatil, o sus sillas de montar las m\u00e1s eficientes, \u00a0se han trasformado en empresas de\u00a0lujo, bajo la\u00a0promesa fundamentalmente del dise\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el a\u00f1o pasado, Apple ha invertido mucho en el componente de lujo para\u00a0su futuro. Ha contratado a ejecutivos de Burberry y la industria relojera suiza y ha redise\u00f1ado sus\u00a0tiendas minoristas\u00a0hacia el lujo<\/p>\n<p>El reto al que se enfrenta si decide tratar de combinar la funci\u00f3n con el lujo, es que con el tiempo, estos dos caminos divergen.<\/p>\n<p>El fabricante de lujo no\u00a0teme no ser un producto de vanguardia. Por otro lado, vive con el temor de que no sea visto como una opci\u00f3n fundamental por la \u00e9lite. Y el fabricante funcional como es apple actualmente debe evitar lo contrario, que la gente deje de verlo como un producto de vanguardia y sea visto como una opci\u00f3n por las clases mas pudientes.<\/p>\n<p>Es posible (aunque improbable) que Apple se convierta en el primer fabricante de productos de vanguardia a largo plazo y que de manera simult\u00e1nea sea una marca de lujo rentable.<\/p>\n<p>En alg\u00fan momento de la evoluci\u00f3n de todas las marcas de lujo, los usuarios dejan de preocuparse por el producto y sus funcionalidad y miran mucho mas a la propia marca. Siempre en la historia ha sido as\u00ed pero igual Apple consigue cambiar este concepto.
