Diadora and CEU Emprende would like to raise a challenge and take you to spend a day with the President of Diadora in the company’s headquarters in Italy.
Diadora is a growing Italian multinational firm dedicated to manufacturing sports equipment. The firm was created in 1948 and it was its first objective to design and manufacture hiking boots. This family-owned firm started to earn reputation in the 50s, which encouraged them to widen the range of products to skiing equipment, tennis runners and track & field accessories, and start with football accessories in the 90s [Source: Wikipedia]
HERE’S OUR CHALLENGE: Experience VS Youth.
How can young people access the labour market without any previous work experience? This is a recurring topic. Corporations are demanding experienced workers, but young people hardly have any work experience. How can we overcome this situation?
That is the challenge, do you have a suggestion to make? How do you think we can improve this situation?
Who can take part?
Any students of a degree or a post-graduate course at CEU Cardenal Herrera University.
What is in it for me?
A coaching experience at the highest possible level. To spend a day with the President of a big firm. To witness first-hand how senior management is implemented. To see how management and leadership skills are put in place, how entrepreneurship and innovation are key in an organization. Aren’t these reasons appealing enough to participate?
How can I participate?
To take part in the challenge, you just need to post a comment to the original entry published in CEU Emprende, answering the question we have raised. It is highly important that your comment doesn’t exceed 300 words. Please don’t write your comment in this blog, as it won’t be valid…proceed to CEU Emprende to post your comment and have the chance to win the challenge!
In your comment you need to include your e-mail address so we can get in touch with you in case you win the competition.
Once the competition has ended, the organization will publish those comments considered more appropriate.
The selected comments will move to a second stage, a shortlist. In this case, the authors will be contacted by e-mail and asked to submit their CV and a cover letter in English, in which they may explain their reasons to spend a day with the President of Diadora.
What about the deadline?
The challenge will be open from October 15 to 31 2014.
Who chooses the winner?
The winner will be chosen by a mixed jury composed by the Management Team at Diadora and CEU Emprende. The winner will spend a day with the President at the company’s headquarters or a place designated by him.
Go for it, you won’t regret it!
