Our university organizes a weekend trip to Morella (province of Castellón) open to all CEU-UCH students. On December 13-14, you will have the opportunity of discovering a beautiful town and enjoying the tranquillity of the surrounding nature. Take a look at these quick facts and join us!
The city of Morella
Located at the far north end of the Region of Valencia and about 60km from the Mediterranean coast, Morella is a historical town of 2700 inhabitants, considered one of the most beautiful towns of our country. Its charm is brought by its strategic position, surrounded by an astonishing landscape, and the ancient defending walls that reach the imposing castle, at more than 1000m above sea level. The castle has sixteen towers, six entrance doors and a 2km-long wall, which gives it a very particular silhouette.
Declared Historical Artistic Site in 1931, you are bound to fall in love with this city full of tradition, monuments, folk and an excellent cuisine!
For the more adventurous there is the possibility of taking a multi-adventure route, full of tree-top walkaways that go up to 17m high! The duration of the route usually takes up to 2h30 and combines 30 different activities, including:
-100m long zip-lines!
Fábrica de Giner Youth Hostel
It’s a hostel located in an ancient factory in Morella (province of Castellón). This old industrial complex was dedicated to the textil sector in the late 19th Century, and it is now equipped with a hostel, swimming pool, a BTT centre and a multi-adventure park, all of in the midst of nature!
From the hostel there are several walking routes that will allow you to discover the area, and we will be using some of them to make you discover a little more of this small region called “Comarca dels Ports”.
Our team will prepare several leisure activities and group games to make you have a greater taste of Morella and its cultural offer, all in the best possible company!
