Many of us have always wanted to learn a new language, whether its French, Norwegian, or Chinese it’s something that has always been in the back of our mind. Besides the fact that being multilingual can seriously improve your employment potential there are so many more reasons as to why you should finally challenge yourself to do it. May I remind you what is so great about learning new languages?
When you decide to learn a new language you’re basically opening a door into a world filled with tons of possibilities to make learning this new language an exciting new experience!
One of the many possibilities that you’re given, is the opportunity to explore a new country and it’s culture. Without a doubt the best way to learn a new language is to immerse yourself within it. It’s the perfect “excuse” for you to get away and explore!

Fluency in several languages allows you to read books & watch movies in its original language. You know that feeling you get when you find out you’ve passed all of your final exams? Well, that’s the same feeling you get when you’re finally able to read an entire book or understand a movie in a language that isn’t your mother tongue.

Thankfully, we are lucky enough to attend a University that has over 2,500 students from 75 different countries! This allows us to have a diverse circle of friends, practice our new language, and be apart of language exchange activities that CEU Valencia has to offer.
I’m sure a lot of you decided to study in Valencia, Spain for several reasons. One of them being to either improve or learn Spanish, which is fantastic! Now that you’ve made it this far you can even consider studying abroad with Erasmus+. Which allows you to pick up a new language, create a new circle of friends, and discover a new way of living!
