Languages Service organised this test is to certify a B1 level of Spanish within the University
Forty CEU-UCH International Students participated in the first Spanish Language Competence Test (CIE) on Tuesday, February 24th which was organised by the Languages Service. The purpose of this test is to certify a B1 level of Spanish within the University , which is the minimum recommended to successfully complete academic training in different degrees and to do internships in different professional environments (Dentistry Clinic, Hospitals, Veterinary Hospitals, Spanish companies, etc.).
In the test, three of four areas established by the CEFR were tested: Listening Comprehension, Written Comprehension and Written Expression. Students who pass this part shall be called to complete the fourth area, oral expression.
This test is one of the actions taken by the Vice President for Student and University Extension, through the Languages Service, to achieve greater integration of international students in the Spanish academic and professional life.
