Sharing and enjoying creativity in all the possible ways has been the purpose of CreaFest Winter, a festival organized by the Technical School of University CEU Cardenal Herrera for its students of Architecture and Industrial Design. From designing jewellery to making electronic music, and from photography and skating to guitar playing and learning languages, the workshops of the festival have tackled all types of activities through which the students could teach, learn, and share creativity.

CreaFest Winter has combined workshops by professionals in the world of design with those given by the students themselves, offering them a chance to share their creative crafts, not only in the field of design, but also dealing with music, photography, languages, design of jewellery, ties, and bowties, and skateboarding. Among the professionals invited to the workshops were the Valencian graphic designer Fidel López, the founders of the studio Agus Kim (formerly Totpoc) Agustín García Valverde and María Kim Esplugues — all educated at the Technical School — and Domanises with Juan Carlos Iñesta, a master artisan, ceramics scholar, and producer of Manises ceramics.

During the festival student projects were exhibited in the halls of the school, and students also had the chance to give present their designs during PechaKucha.

During this creative festival the best works of the students were also exhibited differently in the style of PechaKucha. Originating from Japan, this style is employed to present design and visual culture in an alternative and experimental way. It consists of presentations on projects in industrial design, graphics, architecture, and interior design during which each speaker has the maximum of two minutes to present their project.

Another innovative activity has been the quick drawing marathon 4x4x10 during which the participating students were divided into four teams to solve four drawing challenges in only ten minutes.

Murals of student projects, a mannequin challenge, and pans full of paella completed this festival with which the students of the Technical School welcomed a very creative winter.
