April 2017: we help you obtain your NIE and renew your TIE

If you need to process your Certificate of Registration NIE or renew your TIE Card, it is now the moment to do so! As part of our International Student Services, our university will help you manage these important administrative procedures in April 2017 and we therefore invite you to attend the information talks that will be taking place next week.

Please read carefully the information, attend our sessions and let us make things easier for you!

> NIE Certificate of Registration

Did you know that European students, who want to reside legally in Spain, must be registered? The Certificate of Registration, which includes your NIE number, is essential for signing contracts, benefit from the school insurance, get access to scholarships and internships and a lot more!

The University will help you to process your Certificate of Registration this April.

1. Inscribe yourself to attend the informative talks by filling in the form
2. Come to the talks with the necessary documents, including:

  • Passport or ID
  • European health card or a certificate of your medical insurance, which should be written in Spanish, indicate that you are covered in Spain and also indicate that you are fully covered for medical issues
  • Rental contract

3. The university will inform you when you have the appointment at the Foreigner’s office. We will come with you and help you to pay the required fee in order to take your document.

Our information talks will take place the following days:

  • Wednesday 5 April in Room 002A (Luis Campos Górriz Building): at 10h00 in Spanish, 11h00 in French and 12h00 in English
  • Thursday 6 April in Room 002A (Luis Campos Górriz Building): at 15h00 in English, 15h45 in Spanish and 16h30 in French

If you don’t process your Certificate of Registration (NIE) in the deadlines announced by the University, you will have to do it by yourself!

> Renewal of the TIE Card

If your TIE expires before 30th June, renew it with our help this April and you can forget about the procedure during summer!

1. Inscribe yourself to attend the informative talks by filling in the form
2. Come to the talks with the necessary documents, including:

  • Passport
  • TIE
  • Certificate of medical insurance
  • Bank statement that justifies you have sufficient financial means

3. The university will inform you when you have the appointment at the Foreigner’s office.

Our information talks will take place the following days:

  • Monday 3 April in Room 002A (Luis Campos Górriz Building): at 10h00 in Spanish, 11h00 in French and 12h00 in English
  • Tuesday 4 April in Room 102 (Luis Campos Górriz Building): at 15h00 in English, 15h45 in Spanish and 16h30 in French

 If you don’t process the renovation of your TIE in the deadlines announced by the University, you will have to do it by yourself!
