El componente horizontal de esa vibraci\u00f3n aumenta hasta el punto en que se convierte en una luz muy brillante y molesta: un reflejo.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Las <strong>lentes polarizadas<\/strong> contienen un filtro especial que bloquea la luz reflejada y s\u00f3lo deja pasar la luz \u00fatil, permitiendo una visi\u00f3n sin reflejos y con un color y contraste naturales.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Son un tipo de lentes que se utilizan para eliminar reflejos molestos que se producen en las superficies, como puede ser el reflejo del sol en el agua, en la nieve, en la carretera\u2026. Son las lentes\u00a0mas empleadas por los <strong>deportistas de alto rendimiento<\/strong> y profesionales de alto riesgo, que necesitan exigencias m\u00e1ximas de todos los productos que emplean, pues un mal destello, un deslumbramiento, una grieta en aun de sus lentes puede marcar la diferencia de ganar un oro, o salvar una vida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Para poder eliminar estos reflejos molestos lo que se hace es incorporar una capa de un pol\u00edmero polarizador (Polaroid) en la lente.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Algunas marcas comerciales, \u00a0como Oakley, \u00a0han ido un paso mas all\u00e1 y han dise\u00f1ado una \u00fanica lente con un proceso de moldeado por infusi\u00f3n a la que no se le a\u00f1ade ni pegamentos, ni capas polarizadoras, que al fin son pel\u00edculas sobre la lente que distorsionan su visi\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mauro Serig\u00f3, alumno del Grado de \u00d3ptica y Optometr\u00eda, nos explica que son las lentes polarizadas.
