Cuando Rafael Rold\u00e1n redactaba su \u201cDiccionario\u201d resid\u00eda en Madrid donde ten\u00eda instalado el laboratorio farmac\u00e9utico de su nombre, y le atribu\u00eda las dos obras siguientes: \u201cEl cretinismo en las Hurdes y los debates de la\u00a0Academia de Medicina\u201d (Madrid, 1926, 8 p.) y \u201cVitaminas y hemofilia\u201d (1926), \u00e9ste en colaboraci\u00f3n con Carlos Elozegui.<\/p>\n<p>En la Hemeroteca del diario \u201cABC\u201d se cita en el peri\u00f3dico del 26 de febrero de 1930 la reuni\u00f3n pol\u00edtica del Partido Reformista que tuvo lugar en el domicilio de Melquiades \u00c1lvarez, donde se acord\u00f3 celebrar un acto p\u00fablico en Madrid en la primera quincena del mes de marzo, quedando nombrada una comisi\u00f3n al efecto de la que formaba parte nuestro farmac\u00e9utico Felipe Llopis.<\/p>\n<p>Laboratorios Llopis y Laboratorios Llofar, S.A. En 1949 tuvo lugar la fundaci\u00f3n de los Laboratorios Llophar, S.A., fruto de la fusi\u00f3n de los Laboratorios Llopis y Phar. Dispuso desde el principio de una red de f\u00e1bricas que le suministraban los elementos esenciales para la producci\u00f3n de sus productos medicamentosos. En Teijeiro (La Coru\u00f1a) ten\u00edan la f\u00e1brica de arseniatos, y en Molina de Segura (Murcia) y Pizarra (M\u00e1laga), dos zonas limoneras de gran importancia econ\u00f3mica, la de fabricaci\u00f3n de \u00e1cido c\u00edtrico. La sede central de estas filiales estaba en Carabanchel (Madrid), mientras que la organizaci\u00f3n comercial y administrativa estaba en Madrid capital.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de la producci\u00f3n de especialidades, el laboratorio destac\u00f3 pronto por su producci\u00f3n de \u00e1cido c\u00edtrico que extra\u00eda del zumo de lim\u00f3n, para lo que aprovechaban millones de kilos de limones cada a\u00f1o que produc\u00edan grandes cantidades de \u00e1cido c\u00edtrico cristalizado.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1821\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/eponimos-cientificos\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2011\/10\/FOTO301.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"344\" height=\"422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/eponimos-cientificos\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2011\/10\/FOTO301.jpg 344w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/eponimos-cientificos\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2011\/10\/FOTO301-244x300.jpg 244w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 344px) 100vw, 344px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Algo parecido suced\u00eda con el bismuto, pues por entonces Espa\u00f1a era el tercer pa\u00eds productor de mineral. As\u00ed Llorar, el nuevo nombre que adoptaba el Laboratorio, absorb\u00eda el 80 % de esta producci\u00f3n, del que aproximadamente obten\u00edan 25.000 kilos de bismuto. Cuando sobre 1940 se extendi\u00f3 en Espa\u00f1a la plaga del escarabajo de la patata, Leptinotarsa decenlineata, Llofar levant\u00f3 en Teijeiro una f\u00e1brica destinada a la producci\u00f3n de arseniatos para combatirla.<\/p>\n<p>De todas formas el objetivo principal del laboratorio era la fabricaci\u00f3n de medicamentos, alguno de los cuales iba a alcanzar notable \u00e9xito entre las clases m\u00e9dica y farmac\u00e9utica como Bario Llofar, Retil\u00f3n, Genina Anti-Pertusis, Nate\u00ednas y diversos tipos de sueros.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre la importancia y la calidad de los medicamentos elaborados en el laboratorio farmac\u00e9utico de Felipe Llopis, tenemos la cita del \u201cJournal of molecular medecin\u201d de julio de 1940 que comenta la adquisici\u00f3n por parte de la Oficina de Salud P\u00fablica del partido nazi alem\u00e1n de 900 ampollas de los preparados vitam\u00ednicos Nate\u00edna.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bario Llofar <\/strong><br \/>\nSe trata de una de las especialidades farmac\u00e9uticas m\u00e1s importantes que salieron de los laboratorios Llofar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bibliograf\u00eda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">AN\u00d3NIMO (1940): Seis a\u00f1os de la oficina principal de\u00a0salud p\u00fablica del partido nazi.
