\nDatos biogr\u00e1ficos<\/strong>
\nSeg\u00fan se\u00f1ala el breve resumen hist\u00f3rico de la publicidad que sus laboratorios insertaban en el Bolet\u00edn de la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Historia de la Farmacia, Jos\u00e9 Robert Soler al concluir el bachillerato realiz\u00f3 estudios de ingenier\u00eda qu\u00edmica, profesi\u00f3n que ejerci\u00f3 durante un tiempo hasta que en 1906, de acuerdo con su verdadera vocaci\u00f3n, culminaba la carrera de Farmacia, y establec\u00eda una oficina en la calle Lauria de Barcelona. A partir de entonces iba a simultanear sus actividades profesionales como farmac\u00e9utico, con el profesorado en la Escuela de Ingenieros Qu\u00edmicos y la\u00a0investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Era profesor auxiliar de la Escuela de Ingenieros Industriales de Barcelona en 1917.<\/p>\n

Laboratorios Robert <\/strong>
\nEl mismo a\u00f1o 1906 que abr\u00eda su oficina de farmacia, fundaba tambi\u00e9n el Laboratorio Robert, dando enseguida a conocer a la clase m\u00e9dica espa\u00f1ola y sudamericana las especialidades Phosphorrenal y Peptoyodal, que pronto alcanzaron notable \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n

Esta labor de f\u00e1brica se compatibilizaba con la investigadora, hasta el punto que lleg\u00f3 a alcanzar el laboratorio un cat\u00e1logo de cerca de cincuenta especialidades, algunas de ellas elaboradas a partir de materias primas originales que obten\u00eda el propio laboratorio, siempre con las correspondientes patentes de invenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

A la muerte del fundador se incorpor\u00f3 a la direcci\u00f3n de la empresa su hijo Jos\u00e9 Robert Mestre, que enseguida cont\u00f3 con la f\u00e1brica de Barcelona y delegaciones en Madrid y\u00a0otros puntos de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

\nDiversos medicamentos del vademecum de este laboratorio llevan en su denominaci\u00f3n el apellido del fundador del mismo como Antidift\u00e9rico Robert, Phosphorrenal Robert o Peptoyodal Robert.<\/p>\n
