Fue m\u00e9dico auxiliar en el Hospital General de Viena y del consejero \u00e1ulico profesor Von Drasche, alcanzando m\u00e1s tarde la borla de doctor. En 1896 se revalid\u00f3 como Privatdozent, fue m\u00e9dico especialista de la Federaci\u00f3n de Cajas de socorros mutuos para enfermedades, y m\u00e9dico jefe del Instituto de Curaci\u00f3n de Elisabethina de Viena.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta 1919 hab\u00eda ya publicado unos treinta trabajos sobre diversos aspectos de medicina interna, siendo sus obras m\u00e1s importantes las siguientes: \u201cEntz\u00fcnd\u00fcngslehre\u201d, \u201cHaematologische Untersuchungen\u201d, \u201cTherapeutische Indikationen f\u00fcr innere Krankheiten\u201d, \u201cZur kenntnis neuer Krankheiststypen D. Neralgie\u201d y \u201cNeurosen und des Rheumatismus\u201d. En dos vol\u00famenes edit\u00f3 \u201cDie Gesundheit\u201d (2\u00aa edici\u00f3n 1919), con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Leyden, Senador, von Basch, von Mosetig, Cerny, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Perteneci\u00f3 a varias sociedades cient\u00edficas y fund\u00f3 las revistas \u201cMonatsschrift f\u00fcr prakt. Medizin\u201d y \u201cDie Heilkunde\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anti\u00farico de Weiss<\/strong><br \/>\nSe trata de la primera especialidad farmac\u00e9utica registrada oficialmente en Espa\u00f1a, antirreum\u00e1tico elaborado por Carlos Cuerda de la Fuente.
