Marta Bel<\/strong>\u00a0is a 3rd-year student studying a\u00a0Degree in Nursing<\/a>\u00a0at University CEU Cardenal Herrera and\u00a0Alba Llinares\u00a0<\/strong>is a postgraduate student of the Master in Nursing <\/a>in its module\u00a0Urgencies, Emergencies and\u00a0Catastrophes\u00a0in its 7th edition.<\/p>\n

On the 14th Mary 2016, they participated as entrepreneurs\u00a0in the Education Fair<\/strong> that was celebrated in the old riverbed of Valencia.<\/p>\n

They held a workshop on\u00a0Basic Life Support<\/strong> and DESA<\/strong> (Semi-Automated External Defibrillation)\u00a0for the attending public and all the people interested in the world of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The workshop was aimed at all ages, especially \u2013 according to Marta \u2013 for the parents who went with their children and who were really interested by CPR. Not only did they hold the workshop but they answered many doubts, about the subject, that the attendees asked.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marta also says that she has learnt a lot from Alba, as she is the Instructor of Basic Life Support<\/strong> and DESA<\/strong>. At the fair there were more than 200 tents where many public and private centres participated: together they demonstrated projects of teaching innovation that are being applied and that without a doubt improve the quality of education.<\/p>\n

Equally they celebrated five training conferences for teachers<\/strong>, in which they reflected on aspects of interest in education: the \u201cinclusive education<\/strong>\u201d, the \u201cprofessional training\u201d, the \u201ceducational leadership<\/strong>\u201d or the \u201cmultilinguism\u201d stood out amongst others.<\/p>\n

It was in 1957 when the river overflowed and flooded the city of Valencia<\/a>: the \u201criu\u00e0\u201d. This time the flood has been of culture, peace, unity, future and of love, a lot of love!<\/p>\n

The Primary Education event took place on the 13th, 14th and 15th of May 2016 with more than 1500 activities<\/strong> and more than 1000 volunteers.<\/p>\n

Educational model that aims to attend to the learning needs with a special emphasis on the people with vulnerabilities, social exclusion, those associated with disability and related to the physical environment.<\/p>\n
