A practical activity in which the <strong>students<\/strong> demonstrate what they have learnt in lectures, workshops and seminars, and they put into practice techniques and skills as if it were <strong>a real situation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Without a doubt, the protagonists are the <strong>students<\/strong>, so each one of the \u201croles\u201d that constituted the participants of the Simulation was carried out by them: from the Advanced Command Post (PMA) \u2013 Jaume \u2013 to Public Relations \u2013 Elisa -.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6130\" id=\"caption-attachment-6149\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Extricaci\u00f3n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This year the students who participated were Master students of Nursing in their module II Urgencies, Emergencies and Catastrophes in Elche (coordinated by Maria Carmen Rocamora) and Moncada, Valencia (coordinated by Juan Jose Tirado and Jose Vte Carmona), Undergraduate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cecova.tv\/index.php?id=2630\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nursing<\/a> students of Castell\u00f3n and TES students (coordinated by professor Rafael Moret), Undergraduate students of different years of Nursing in Moncada, Valencia, volunteers of Civil Protection in Torrente, Master professors from the campuses of Elche, Castell\u00f3n and Valencia, and professional firefighters, who have demonstrated to us once again, the high qualification that they have: many thanks Rub\u00e9n and Ismael.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, members of the <strong>1st Military Police Battalion of B\u00e9tera<\/strong> visited us and they work within the Master activities, a session at their base.<br \/>\nThe planted scenario was a road accident that involved a bus, two cars and a motorbike: in total around 20 victims of different severities that the first responders had to \u201clabel\u201d: green, yellow, red or black.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The victims wore make up to show their state and they realistically played their role: Ana Olmos and Ana Cristina Ramos were in charge of the make up this year \u2013spectacular-.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cecova.tv\/index.php?id=2630\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CECOVA Televisi\u00f3n<\/a>\u00a0\u2500Amparo\u2500, Ana Salvador \u2500<strong>CEU<\/strong>\u2500\u00a0and the coordinator\u00a0<strong>Dr. Tirado<\/strong>, were the people responsible for capturing this event with photos and videos.\u00a0Each year we try to exceed ourselves and we proposed that the mobile hospital psychologist treated the non-physical problems\/alterations, of the victims on the premises: the student Marc Palanca played his part inside out beforehand, searching for specific protocols for this type of event so he could practise with the victims who required it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two important concepts to clarify:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>Extrication<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cremoving\u201d as a concept, is defined as any manoeuvre oriented to the extraction of a victim from a vehicle either with mechanical\/instrumental or manual support methods.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Release<\/strong> uses the techniques that are used both physically and non-physically to get to a victim \u2013 to free them-.
