With that being said, <strong>here&#8217;s a quick travel guide to Spain&#8217;s most enchanting city: Seville<\/strong>! It is only a 6 hour car ride, 4 hour train ride, and an hour long flight. It&#8217;s <strong>divine sunny weather<\/strong> makes it all worthwhile. I used <strong>BlaBlaCar<\/strong>\u2014a comfortable and cheap way to travel. Now, let&#8217;s get to the good stuff. It&#8217;s insanely intricate details will keep you mesmerized for hours. La Giralda is the name given to the bell tower of the Cathedral. In its time it was the largest tower in the world standing at 97.5 meters high. You can witness very nice views of Seville from here.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Plaza de Espa\u00f1a<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>It&#8217;s basically <strong>a 170 meter diameter hug<\/strong>. Probably the most beautiful plaza I&#8217;ve ever visited. It was designed by Seville architect An\u00edbal Gonz\u00e1lez in 1929. Along the plaza is<strong> a canal, where you may travel romantically by boat if you wish<\/strong>. From one end of the plaza to the other are banks of tiles that represent the provinces of Spain.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Planning to travel from\u00a0Valencia\u00a0to\u00a0Seville\u00a0by\u00a0train? The high-speed train will take you to the capital of Andaluc\u00eda in less than 4 hours!<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4><strong>Metropol Parasol<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Known locally as<em> Las Setas de Sevilla (The Mushrooms). <\/em>It opened in 2011 and was built by German architect J\u00fcrgen Mayor H. <em>Las Setas de Sevilla<\/em> is the <strong>largest wooden structure in the world<\/strong>! It contains a local food market, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/setasdesevilla.com\/antiquarium-setas-sevilla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Museo Antiquarium<\/a><\/strong>, as well as a walkway and view point. Which features fountains, mini canals and statues. You can even reach 3 museums as well as Plaza de Espa\u00f1a from this park.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Casa Pilatos<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Casa Pilatos is another <strong>extraordinary palace to see<\/strong>. It&#8217;s a combination of Italian Renaissance styles &amp; Spanish Mudejar styles.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Alameda de H\u00e9rcules<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Alameda de H\u00e9rcules is a <strong>hip bar scene<\/strong> with tons of options. So, definitely grab some drinks in this area.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Torre del Oro<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This is a <strong>watchtower<\/strong> located on the left bank of the Guadalquivir river. It&#8217;s 36 meters tall therefore allows you to <strong>enjoy killer views of Seville<\/strong>. It&#8217;s designed beautifully just like every other monument in Seville.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Mercado Lonja del Barranco <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This is a <strong>gourmet market<\/strong> where you can find <strong>tapas<\/strong>. <em>Calle de Mateos Gago<\/em> is a popular street for tapas as well. Definitely check out the bar<em> El Tremendo<\/em> it&#8217;s a tiny bar where all the locals chug <strong>Seville&#8217;s coldest beer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Seville is truly a doorway to the past<\/strong>. Every corner holds so much beauty and detail. It&#8217;s no wonder that it was <strong>considered the best city to visit in 2018<\/strong>.
