You will be able to experience many activities, such as the activities I am going to tell you about now, as I attended them\u00a0last weekend!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fireworks of the Crid\u00e0- Fallas 2017\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KtAGsvJt9qg?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Multi-coloured carnaval at Benimaclet<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year was\u00a0the third time the carnival was organized in the city. It was an event in which many dancing groups from Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla participated, as well as Milan and other Latin American countries, filling the streets with colors and music. It started at 6pm from Emilio Bar\u00f3 Street, right next to the tram station, and <strong>the parade did not stop until 11pm<\/strong>!\u00a0It was a great occasion to show the different types of dancing, especially when they have to wear big accessories but still dance with passion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Carnaval Benimaclet 2017\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/m7hf35YkvSA?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Fireworks are not the same as a\u00a0<em>masclet\u00e0<\/em><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many people, including me, keep wondering why there is <em>masclet\u00e0<\/em> at 2 pm when no one will actually be able to see it. The answers are that it is possible because, for the Valencians, <em>masclet\u00e0<\/em> is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fallas.com\/index.php\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pyrotechnic show<\/a> of massive explosive powder which you do not see it <em>with your eyes<\/em>. You don\u2019t have to stand closely to the shooting point. \u00a0The trick here is, you <strong>hear it, smell it, and feel it<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, the sounds are ear-splitting. However, avoid tapping your hand over your ear, because it is not the smart way to protect it &#8211; you will increase the pressure inside. Open your mouth instead, and it is not a weird thing &#8211; take a look at the people there and you will see. The Valencians also love the smell of the powder when fired. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, you know that the ending of anything is often very special, so does this. The last turn is so huge that it feels like the ground is moving; like your\u00a0heart vibrates at the same speed as the explosion beat. Another factor to consider is that this shooting of February 25 was<em>\u00a0&#8220;unparalleled, we are going to have a vertical section and a horizontal one, something that has never been done<\/em>&#8221; said the master pyrotechnician<strong> Ricardo Caballer<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This last weekend I have seen 3 times firework displays and <em>masclet\u00e0<\/em> shows, a thing that you would not experience in your home country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fallas de Valencia 2017, Masclet\u00e0 de la Crida, Pirotecnia Valenciana\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/35KyaVe-r7U?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some interesting information for\u00a0you: from March 1st till the end of Fallas, March 19th,<strong> masclet\u00e0<\/strong> shows will be on at the Town Hall Square (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.es\/maps\/place\/Pla%C3%A7a+de+l'Ajuntament,+46002+Val%C3%A8ncia,+Valencia\/@39.4714277,-0.3781008,17.57z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0xd604f4c9bbb5a99:0x109dc179638fbb28!8m2!3d39.4707127!4d-0.3763936\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Plaza del Ayuntamiento<\/a>) at 2 p.m, so don\u00b4t miss it.
