Spain in the history of the Royal Society<\/strong>.<\/em>\u00a0En ella se recoge la relaci\u00f3n\u00a0\u00a0entre los cient\u00edficos brit\u00e1nicos y espa\u00f1oles desde su fundaci\u00f3n en 1660.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La exposici\u00f3n est\u00e1 compuesta por un centenar de objetos procedentes de distintas instituciones. Entre\u00a0todos ellos destacan las pertenecias de\u00a0<a title=\"Wikipedia\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ramon_y_cajal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ram\u00f3n y Cajal (1852-1934)<\/a>, como los considerados primeros dibujos de una neurona o un diario en el que apunt\u00f3 los s\u00edntomas que le acompa\u00f1aron hasta el d\u00eda de su muerte, un 17 de octubre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Rodeado de las estanter\u00edas repletas de libros de la Royal Society se encuentra tambi\u00e9n material de trabajo del asturiano <a title=\"Wikipedia\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Severo_Ochoa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Severo Ochoa (1905-1993) <\/a>as\u00ed como el certificado de su ingreso en la sociedad cient\u00edfica brit\u00e1nica en abril de 1965.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"La ciencia espa\u00f1ola, protagonista de la Royal Society de Londres\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WaII4xIxaIc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Espa\u00f1a despert\u00f3 durante el siglo XVII el inter\u00e9s de los cient\u00edficos extranjeros por su flora, por su fauna . Los primeros espa\u00f1oles &#8216;fellows&#8217; de la Royal Society fueron el Marqu\u00e9s de Monte Leone (1716) y el Conde de Montijo (1732), ambos embajadores espa\u00f1oles. Y entre los \u00faltimos, el bi\u00f3logo gen\u00e9tico <a title=\"Wikipedia\" href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Antonio_Garc%C3%ADa-Bellido\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antonio Garc\u00eda-Bellido<\/a> y el qu\u00edmico Emilio Corma Can\u00f3s (2012).
