This kind of activities allows us to both show to our students how the knowledge they acquired during the academic year is used in reality, and to open a <strong>critical-constructive debate<\/strong> on the systems that are used and on their adequacy. This has been the goal for today. We put on our helmets and visited the construction site of an elementary school in Valencia. <strong>Jos\u00e9 Luis Gisbert Elio<\/strong>, one of the leading architects in the project, guided us around the construction site.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5506\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001-650x418.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"418\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001-650x418.jpg 650w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001-315x203.jpg 315w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001-768x494.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001-696x448.jpg 696w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/001.jpg 1476w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We entered the interior of the building in the company of architect Gisbert, and inspected the construction systems our students had previously seen in class. These systems include, among others, more traditional ones, such as subfloors made out of Zinc, and more modern ones, such as those used in the construction of fa\u00e7ades and in interior decoration, two situations in which non-load bearing walls and fa\u00e7ade works are common.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5507\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002-650x488.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002-650x488.jpg 650w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002-315x236.jpg 315w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002-696x522.jpg 696w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/002.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Students of the third year sometimes have difficulty in understanding the composition, behavior and execution of these heterogeneous solutions, which are increasingly more important in construction works. That is why it is very interesting they visit construction sites where these types of work are being carried out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/003.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5508\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/003.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"452\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/003.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/003-315x222.jpg 315w, https:\/\/blog.uchceu.es\/arquitectura\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2015\/07\/003-100x70.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A very important aspect for students of architecture in order to understand the importance of taking into account the various disciplines the project consists of, such as structure, installation or construction.
